EYE-FI How to Connect to...

The Eye Fi card needs the router's 'User Login ' feature to be disabled. This is enabled by default. To do this :-

1. Connect to the CradlePoint Router using either WiFi or Ethernet.

2. Open an internet browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox and connect to the Administrator address http://192.168.0.1

The prompt to login will appear, enter the password. The default password is the last 6 characters of the CradlePoint router's MAC address, which is located on a sticker on the bottom of the router.

3. Click on the "Tools" tab, then the "User Login" menu on the left hand side.

3. Un-check "Require User Login" and click save settings.

4. This will ask if to reboot the router, select reboot now and the router will power off and restart.

The router will reboot and when WiFi is available again. Next setup Eye-Fi card to work with the CradlePoint WiFi router.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The router will NOT be secure and internet access will NOT require a Login, so anyone within WiFi range can use your internet connection. It is strongly suggested that Wireless Security is setup to prevent unwanted access. This is simply done in the ADMIN > BASIC > WIRELESS (WI-FI) SECURITY MODE. Simply change mode to WEP or WPA and enter a Security phrse or Pre-Shared Key.

There are some simple steps for configuring and Eye-Fi card, for additional information, consult your Eye-Fi documentation.
